A private company, Art & Stil Global Alliance Limited, has concluded plans to construct 11,000 housing units at Atan Ota, along Sokoto Road, and three other locations in Ogun State. The housing scheme is to be developed by Model Satellite Towns Development Limited

CODEWIT gathered that the estate, when completed, would also have 50,000 lock-up shops for commercial purpose and also help to uplift the standard of living of those who would eventually purchase the units.

The company, in a statement, hinted that about 25,000 youths within Sango, Idiroko, Ilaro and Agbara, would be trained in June and July in the construction of inter-lock brick production and assembling for the proposed estate as a way of generating employment for the youths.

It said the company had also concluded a $1billion offshore finance to be warehoused by Union Bank Plc, Balogun branch where contractors assemblers, beneficiaries and off-takers of the units are expected to have accounts as mandatory.

The estate would be accessible through an 8-lane road and a train rail to move all bulk goods from Ilaro in Yewa Local Government via Sokoto Road to Agbara-Badagry Expressway thus opening it to Lagos State.
