ABSTRACT
Nowadays, the use of internet and other fast growing technologies to conduct business is becoming rampant in our society. It is obvious that this new trend has changed the face of how business is conducted. A closer look into the emergent business process will always prompt one to ask questions like, how has E- business changed our traditional business practices. It becomes evident to say that E-business has changed the way in which business is conducted in different ways. At this time, it has become vital to every organization not only to improve their business process, but also to maintain a completive edge. These changes are analyzed for specific human resource management (HRM) functions: (HR) planning, job analysis and job design, recruitment and selection, orientation, training, and compensation. All these functions are affected by changes in the business environment, technology, and potential labor force of e-business. These changes create challenges for human resource professionals who must recognize the inherent differences between e-business and traditional brick-and-mortar business. HR professionals must adapt to these changes quickly in order to maximize the performance of e-business.
