Three suspects, alleged to be members of a robbery gang terrorizing Mushin and other parts of Lagos State, have been arrested by operatives of the anti-robbery section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Lagos.

Vanguard gathered that the suspects were apprehended when the SCID operatives received an intelligence report linking them to several armed robbery cases and gang-related killings within the area.

It was gathered that an AK-47 rifle, which was snatched from a policeman, murdered in 2013 at Isolo area of Lagos and an unlicensed pump action gun were recovered from the suspects.

Police sources disclosed that the rifles were recovered from the roof of a popular bakery in Mushin, where the suspects were arrested.

The suspects told Vanguard that they could not give an exact number of people they had killed with the guns.
