SOUTH MILWAUKEE WI. (GVE)- President Goodluck Jonathan, has described the emergence of Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC as his achilles heel ahead of next month’s general election.

The APC had, after a long deliberation last month, come out with Osinbajo, a clergyman, as the running mate for General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), the party’s presidential candidate.

But, this has immediately stirred another round of worries in the camp of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP with the party showing desperation to maintain a firm grip on the seat of power.

Global Village Extra sources disclosed that President Jonathan during a meeting with top pentecostal pastors last week, sought assistance to help him avert the impending danger which Osinbajo’s influence in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG- where he(Osinbajo) pastors- would cause his ambitions.

Jonathan believes that more than half of his prospective voters would be swayed by their loyalty to the church and Osinbajo, who is also believed to have close ties with Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG.

Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel who headed the contingent of the pastors invited to the meeting, Global Village Extra sources gathered, was tasked with finding a strategy to solve the “Osinbajo” problem.

Sources at the meeting confirmed that President Jonathan confessed in a rather disturbing and humbling manner
that, “Osinbajo is my problem.”

According to our impeccable source, who was at the meeting, the President added that, “everything was okay until APC picked Osinbajo”.

He therefore, pleaded, almost amid tears, that the clergymen should do everything within their powers to ensure victory for him in next month’s election.

The meeting was reportedly organized by the Executive Secretary of the National Christian Pilgrims Commission, NCPC John Kennedy Okpara.
