The Codewit Author Award is awarded every six months  by the Codewit Global Network Ry to recognize an outstanding published body of articles, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or play script. A panel of judges representing Codewit Editors and the Codewit Board determines the recipient on overall literary merit and visitors votes.
