The Finns once again struggled to get a foothold in the game, with Denmark dominating possession. Denmark went ahead in the 29th minute through a deflected Mia Brogaard shot.

Finland eventually equalised in the 86th minute, with a header from Annica Sjölund following a corner. The result leaves Finland bottom of Group A and out of the competition.

Sweden topped the group and go through to the quarter finals, as do Italy as runners-up, while Denmark have to wait to see if they are among the two best third-placed teams in the group stage. The other two groups conclude on Wednesday and Thursday.
