Canada bests Finland in world junior exhibition

Brendan Gaunce scored the winning goal and added an assist as Canada beat Finland 5-3 on Wednesday in a world junior exhibition hockey match in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Hunter Shinkaruk and Felix Girard also had a goal and an assist for Canada, while Eric Comrie made 37 saves.

Sam Reinhart and Frederik Gauthier had the other Canadian goals.

Kasperi Kapanen, Saku Salminen and Artturi Lehkonen countered for Finland, while Juuse Saros stopped 31 shots.

Canada's next exhibition game at its summer development camp is Thursday against Sweden
