NIGERIA: Okpara varsity matriculates 4000 students

MICHAEL Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, weekend formally admitted over 4000 new students into its 28 faculties for the next academic session.

Addressing the 20th matriculation ceremony of the university, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Hilary Edoga, assured the students that the education they would receive would equip them for the challenges in the global society.

He said: “Our curricular in the different course of studies are structured in such a way as to make you not only self-employable but also job and wealth creators on graduation.”
