Why Tonto Dikeh was detained in Dubai – Bobrisky

The latest verbal war seemed to be because of Kemi Olunloyo, the controversial journalist.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the 30-year-old cross-dresser also used the medium to demand from the actress what he claimed to be “N5 million you are owing me.”
Trouble started a few days ago after Tonto and Olunloyo engaged in a feisty war of words on social media.
The actress had last week called out the journalist over her allegation that she’s into weapons and hard drugs.
Tonto also threatened to make sure Olunloyo “return to jail”.
Reacting to the actress’ threat, Olunloyo said Tonto could not take her to jail because she knows her secrets.
The journalist also reiterated her claim that the movie star is in possession of a gun and had been using hard drugs.
Apparently cheesed off, Tonto had threatened to pay Olunloyo a visit and “run her up on the streets” if she doesn’t back up her allegation with proof.
Weighing into the fight, Bobrisky said Tonto can’t do anything to Olunloyo, because he got her back.
The crossdresser, who used to be “best friends” with the actress, also admitted that Olunloyo’s allegations were “indeed true”.
In the now-deleted post, the Snapchat celebrity claimed Tonto was once arrested and jailed in Dubai for being drunk and smoking weed.
“We stopped talking in 2020 if I can remember. Well then, I was your heaven and earth. Fast forward to your arrest in Dubai Tonto,” he claimed.
“You insulted Dubai police cos you were drunk and high asf. I tried my best to control you back then, I couldn’t.
“Fast forward Dubai police locked your a** up for two good days in their cell. Nobody knew where you were locked up.
“After two days you were released and the police collected ur phone and weed they caught you with you and charge you to court. I removed my SIM card and gave you my phone just to make sure you quickly post some pictures on ur page so that Stella and other blogs won’t laugh at us.
“I paid for our hotels bills feeding. We were stuck in Dubai for three months all ur mouth you had no one to save your ass. Even ur so-called boyfriends then stop picking ur calls cos you were giving them so much headache, I was the only soul who stood by you.
“Fast forward when an influencer paid me then to influence for her she got angry and ask me to refund her cos I was with you in Dubai instead of doing her job I begged that lady to send some of the hair for me Dubai so I can be working since I was stocked in Dubai with you.
“I was with you for three months then you didn’t see as a bad friend. Fast forward, you were wearing all my gowns I bought to wear in Lagos just because you didn’t come with enough cloths till now many are still with you.
“I gave you 1m to add to fine Dubai police gave you for seeing you with weed. Fast forward, Tonto after two months ur rent in Abuja was due, ur estate payment was due, ur Son needed some money to feed we agreed after the third month I will fly back to abj to sort those bills for you. I flew back to Abuja and I bob sorted all d bills for you.”
Bobrisky had in September last year apologised for “humiliating” Tonto during her failed relationship with Prince Kpokpogri.
In December 2019, on the occasion of their four-year anniversary as friends, the cross-dresser had promised the actress “loyalty till death”.

‘Your private part has become too wide’ – Bobrisky slams Tonto Dikeh, reveals why men dump her

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 59 Second

It has become obvious that the messy fight between Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh and social media Influencer, Bobrisky isn’t coming to an end anytime soon.

Bobrisky via his Instagram page has revealed the reasons men leave Tonto Dikeh after few months of dating.

Bob who was a former bestie of the actress made this known shortly after Tonto called him a debtor and all sorts of names.

In a retaliating post, Bobrisky revealed that men leave Tonto Dikeh’s life after a short while of dating because her private part has become too wide.

Sharing a screenshot of what an ex lover of Tonto Dikeh allegedly sent to him, Bobrisky further hinted that he is ready to go deeper and messier with Tonto Dikeh.

“Aunty tonto see ur life outside awwww he touch you because ur kpekus don too wide 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Since you love to post let go deeper 😂😂😂 my dm don full,” he captioned the screenshot.

Wothappen had reported how Tonto Dikeh reacted hours after Kemi Olunloyo exposed what Bobrisky said to her following their loggerhead.

Bobrisky had reached out to Kemi Olunloyo over Tonto Dikeh’s threats to her.
Bobrisky told Olunloyo that Tonto Dikeh can not do anything, adding that she is just trash and bullshit.

Reacting to Bobrisky’s words, Tonto Dikeh in a post shared on her Instagram page, said whenever she ex a friend, such person becomes dead and irrelevant to her.
She added that God did her bad by giving her ex-friends who are so obsessed with her and are so pained that every time her name is trending over issues, they jump on it.

She wrote: “When I ex you as a friend, you become dead to me, as in your irrelevance would be second to none. I am that friend that when I cut you off, I cut your existence out. But I don’t know why God punishes me with ex-friends who are so obsessed with me and that are so pained that every time my name is brought up they wanna jump like person wey lose em gala”

“If you were dying, and I am to comment to make you live, you know I wouldn’t do that, that’s who I am… Omo am blessed but una dey past now, make una stay there ooo.. If I still dey enter your eye talk but am still not taking you back. Period”

On his part, Bobrisky maintained that he is not reversing his statement because he knows Tonto Dikeh well and also reminded the world that the actress is still owing him.

He wrote: “You have asked me to send my account no since last year to pay ur debit till now nothing…. (5million is a lot abeg pay ur debt so i can also balance people I’m owning 😂😂😂😂. Nobody wish to go back to a friend like you, I will choose to remain friendless than to come to you. Before i forget you are still using my phone you borrowed from me ? Don’t worry how i know 😂😂😂😂 aunty borrow borrow sha change 😂😂😂cos ur own fake life pass my own 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I can be calm but bobrisky the IDAMU ADUGBO is always ready to fight !!!!! Lastly you cannot do anything to aunty Kemi cos I’m strongly behind her. If na money let spend as see who win or loose. Have a wonderful day.”

UK: Half of new nurses and midwives come from abroad

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 42 Second

Nearly half of the new nurses and midwives registered to work in the UK in the past year have come from abroad.

The total – more than 23,000 – is a record high and comes as the UK has struggled to increase the number of home-grown nurses joining the register.

Nurse leaders questioned whether international recruitment on this scale was sustainable.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council data for 2021-22 also showed the numbers leaving the profession had risen.

More than 27,000 left the register last year, up 13% on the year before and reversing a downward trend in leavers over recent years.

In many ways this was always expected as significant numbers of staff put off retirement to help out in the emergency phase of the pandemic.

And retirement was certainly the main factor – more than four in 10 cited this – although nearly one in five also blamed too much pressure.

Overall the numbers on the register, which also includes a small number of nursing associates, rose by nearly 26,500 to more than 758,000, the highest number ever. One in five are from abroad.

Nearly all of the international recruits that have arrived in the past year were trained in countries from outside Europe – before Brexit, Europe supplied more than the rest of the world. India and the Philippines are the countries which are supplying the most.

The register covers those qualified to work in the UK – it is not the same as the numbers working in the NHS. Currently, around one in 10 nursing posts are unfilled.

Nursing and Midwifery Council chief executive Andrea Sutcliffe said it was “good news” that the register was at the highest level ever, given the pressures of the past two years.

But she added that there were some “warning signs”, saying the numbers leaving because of work pressure was troubling.

And she said the extent to which the UK had become reliant on internationally trained staff was another “note of caution”.

“These professionals make a welcome and vital contribution, but we can’t take them for granted.”

She said the supply of international recruits could always be disrupted by global events or even another pandemic.

Royal College of Nursing general secretary Pat Cullen questioned the sustainability and ethics of such a level of recruitment from abroad, and called for increased investment in domestic training and better pay for staff.

The government said the NHS followed ethical recruitment practices, by not recruiting from a red list of countries which have declared shortages of health care staff.

All parts of the UK have set out plans to increase the number of nurses and midwives in the NHS.

There are signs that is having an impact on domestic supply routes. The overall number of nurses currently in training has started to rise after the reintroduction of some funding support for student nurses in England in 2020, three years after bursaries were scrapped.

In theory that should boost the domestic supply route.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid said the overall rise in nurse numbers was pleasing – and continued progress would help England achieve the government’s manifesto promise to recruit 50,000 more nurses by 2024.

“I’m determined to continue growing the workforce,” he added.

Insecurity: Soludo draws battle line against criminals

0 0
Read Time:9 Minute, 59 Second

FOLLOWING the heightening state of insecurity in Anambra State, the state governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has said that his administration has drawn a battle line against the criminals, insisting that no place in the state would be safe for them to operate.

Soludo spoke as the Anambra State Police Command said yesterday that it had identified some of the criminals terrorizing the state, stressing that there was nothing unknown about the gunmen as people tag them.

Also taking stock of the development in the zone, Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi, has claimed that insecurity in Ebonyi State and the South-East is politically-motivated, noting that insecurity worsened after he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for All Progressives Congress.

Soludo draws battle line against criminals

Addressing aspirants of the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, for the various elective positions for 2023 at the Governor’s Lodge, Awka, Soludo said the government is putting stringent measures in place with security agencies to tackle the situation headlong and restore peace and order to the state.

Lamenting the loss of the member representing Aguata Constituency II at the State House of Assembly, Okechukwu Okoye, who was gruesomely murdered alongside his aide, Cyril Chiegboka by gunmen, the governor assured that the perpetrators of the dastardly act would be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.

He said that the security challenges confronting the state were being “perpetrated by criminals who have now engaged in kidnapping, killing and another manner of criminalities as a lucrative enterprise, a far departure from any form of political agitations”.

The governor expressed gratitude to the APGA members for their support during his gubernatorial campaign and congratulated them for successfully participating in and passing through the screening exercise of the party.

While stating that APGA, as a political party remained one big family, Soludo also expressed optimism that the party would win convincingly in the forthcoming elections at the state House of Assembly, House of Representatives and the Senate elections.

He informed them that he would help build APGA as a strong political party founded on the strong philosophy of true federalism and devolution of power, pointing out that those who used APGA as a mercenary platform to get into office would have to be patient when they return to the party until it gets to their turn again.

“There is a need to build a political party of believers anchored on the concept of fidelity”, he added and thanked them for volunteering to serve the good people of Anambra State.

Soludo spoke after the beheading of the lawmaker in Anambra and as seven other persons in various parts of the state were killed by gunmen.

The latest killings came on the heels of the beheading of Okechukwu Okoye, the House of Assemblymember representing Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s constituency of Aguata 11 constituency and his aide, Mr Cyril Chiegboka.

Out of the seven people reportedly killed, five were a woman and her four children, who met their death at Isulo in Orumba North local government area.

The other two victims were killed at Abatete in Idemili North local government area and at Nanka in Orumba North local government area.

Circumstances that led to the killing of the woman and her children were not yet clear, although it was gathered that gunmen allegedly invaded the area, killed their victims and left.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga however said he was yet to get the reports and promised to respond when he got a clear picture of what happened.

We’ve identified those terrorising Anambra —CP

Addressing reporters in Awka, the state Commissioner of Police, Echeng Echeng said the command would go all out to deal with them, even as he frowned at the reluctance by indigenes of various communities in the state to volunteer information about the activities of criminals in their areas to help tackle the problem.

The CP said: “There is nothing unknown about the gunmen terrorizing Anambra State, to warrant calling them ‘unknown gunmen’.

“We have been saying that unknown gunmen are not the right name for these criminals. We are trying to mystify something that is not just there.

“It is time we go into demystifying them. These people are not spirits, they live with us, they are our nephews, our cousins, our brothers, and they live in communities. We know who they are.

“The problem of security is that of total silence as nobody sees something, nobody hears something and nobody says something.

“Security is collective and everyone has a part to play. Crimes are localized and they happen in our communities. We should be able to come up with information about what is happening in our communities, not glorifying them and tagging them as unknown gunmen, otherwise, we will end up not making headways. We know them, we have actually arrested some of them and they are human beings.

“I want us to also shift the narrative that these criminals are Fulani. We have arrested some and taken out some during gun duels.

“So, when the communities that should help to contribute to security decide to stay quiet, that is not a good sign.

“Last week, a person I didn’t know told me that a team of gunmen were operating at Umunze in a Hummer Jeep. I sent a team after them and we were told they have moved to Umuchu we pursued them and were able to take out four of them.

“I don’t know the man who gave me the information but we used the information to fight the criminals. That black Hummer Jeep you see there (pointing to it) was recovered from the criminals.

“You can see what information can do. That is how powerful information is and we expect people to give information,” Echeng said.

“The state police command has decided to go all out on these criminals. Their dens have been identified and soon, news of their exploit will be made known.

“We will not spare any of them. Forget the narrative they push that they live in the forest, they create that impression and then return to the communities where they live.

“What they have in the forest are just shrines, and we have visited and destroyed most of them. These criminals live among the people”.

Echeng debunked the insinuation that the murdered Anambra lawmaker, Okechukwu Okoye was killed because of a refusal to pay the ransom, saying “I am not aware that any ransom was demanded or that any ransom was paid”.

Insecurity in S-East not imported —Umahi

While appearing as a guest on Channels TV, Umahi ruled out foreigners as the masterminds of insecurity in the South-East.

He also argued that despite the poor security situation in the country, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has performed well.

According to him, the security situation could have been worst without Buhari becoming the president.

Umahi, a frontline aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, said: “In terms of naming all the indices that are needed now to improve on what Mr President has done,   whether you like it or not, this President has done very well. If it is in infrastructure, security, economy, and uniting Nigerians, I think God has helped him to do very well in each and every one of them.

“Nigerians are very tired of political promises. They want to see evidence of what you have done. I have evidence of what I have done and I believe that what I have done could be replicated at the national level.

“I have always told people that if we didn’t have the kind of President we have that is very humane and not vindictive, nobody knows where Nigeria would have been by now.

“So, he has helped us tremendously in the security of the South-East. This thing started as a joke and today it is quite a big issue.

“In my state, there was a time that the insecurity was highly politically-motivated and the targets were Imo State APC and Ebonyi State the moment I defected. We did not have this large scale of insecurity until I defected.”

He continued: “Well, you see, the security situation in the country as I have always told people is that if we did not have the kind of President that is very humane and not vindictive, nobody knows where Nigeria would have been by now.”

“So, he [Buhari] has helped us tremendously in the security of the South East.

“What I call bandits are people that are engaged in violence and our people, South East people; the youths, some of them are also in this category,” Umahi added.

“When people tend to say the insecurity in the southeast is imported, I don’t buy that because I am a governor and get security reports. We have arrested a number of these people and it should be  about five or ten per cent of the people outside the South East.

“So, you cannot say when you have up to 90 per cent of our youths that are engaged in this thing and you say we are being infiltrated by others.”

Herdsmen butcher palm plantation keeper in Ebonyi community

While Umahi spoke with Arise TV, gunmen suspected to be herdsmen attacked a farmer, Okeke Nkemjika in Ebonyi State.

Vanguard investigation revealed that the incident happened on a farm in Amaeze community, Ivo Local Government Area of the state.

The victim, Mr Nkemjika, is from the neighbouring Lok pa community in Abia State but was based in the community.

He was attacked at a palm plantation in the community, where he was working as the plantation keeper.

A  source in the community, Egwu Chibueze told Vanguard that the herdsmen had been terrorising the community for some time now.

He said that on that faithful day, the herdsmen numbering about five had been spotted in the night around a quarry site located in the community.

“In the early hours of today (Sunday), I got a call from the security officer at Yitter Quarry located at the former Setraco site at Umbro Ajanyim.

“He was complaining that he noticed the movement of five herdsmen with riffles and matchets along the farm area as he came out in the night to go round the company”, he said

Egwu said he mobilized the youths and Police to go in search of the herdsmen.

According to him, “as they were heading towards the factory, they saw two boys coming back from farm with palm nuts on their heads who told them they just spotted the herdsmen entering the community.

The source said when they moved towards the location where they were last seen, the herdsmen on sighting them started running while firing in the air intermittently to scare the villagers away.

He said the herdsmen ran into Mr Nkemjika at a palm plantation and attacked him with their matchets.

“When we got there, we saw that the herdsmen had attacked two men who came to carry palm nuts from the farm and they butchered one Mr Okeke Nkemjika, the farm settlement keeper from Lokpa.

“Seeing what they have done to that man, we divided ourselves into two. I joined some policemen in one of their vans in moving to a hospital at Awgu (a neighbouring town in Enugu State)so that we can save the life of the man”.

Egwu noted that the victim, who received deep matchet cut wounds on his back and arm is receiving treatment in the hospital.

Contacted, the Chairman of the Council, Onyebuchi Ogbadu confirmed the attack.

He however said there was nothing before him to prove that the attackers were herdsmen as none of them was arrested.

“Yes, the incident happened. The man is in hospital receiving treatment and we pray he survives. However, there is no concrete proof that the attackers are herdsmen until the investigation is concluded”, he said.

APC Primaries: Osinbajo group dares Tinubu, says VP won’t step down

0 0
Read Time:5 Minute, 22 Second

pro-Yemi Osinbajo

Ahead of next week’s presidential convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, The Progressive Project TPP – an umbrella organization of all pro-Yemi Osinbajo support groups, has dismissed speculations that the vice president was considering stepping down for a national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group noted that as the APC prepares for its presidential primaries, paid agents and loyalists of some aspirants have intensified the spread of falsehoods against the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

Director of Operations at The Progressive Project TPP, Alhaji Usman Aliyu Usman noted on Sunday that “some paid agents and other supporters who feel threatened by the candidature of Professor Osinbajo seem determined for a gutter fight which Osinbajo supporters cannot join”.

Part of the statement reads; “One of our visible supporters, Professor Olusola Adeyeye, a two-term Senator who represented Osun Central Senatorial District between 2011 to 2019 made some weighty statements about the APC presidential primaries on Saturday and by Sunday, really baseless and mischievous anti-Osinbajo statements began circulating.

“Unfortunately, one of these came from Mr. Daniel Bwala, an aide to Deputy Senate President, Senator Omo-Agege who currently appears to moonlight as spokesman for the Bola Tinubu campaign.

“Specifically, without any proof, Mr. Bwala started circulating a video clip with claims that Professor Yemi Osinbajo is ‘allegedly planning to step down for Asiwaju’; Mr. Bwala had no evidence and he ought to know better than going to town with such.”

“Without doubt, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is still riding high in the race and our decision not to interfere in some camps’ deliberate spread of illusion and untruths is only motivated by our genuine confidence in our candidate’s prospects.

“As stated long ago, no group linked to TPP will join any individual or group in playing gutter politics or smearing others but we need to unequivocally state that Professor Yemi Osinbajo is not contemplating any measure of capitulation to any candidate.

“While we are sworn to total allegiance to the Constitution, patriotic values and the spirit of good sportsmanship, we denounce the misleading information and unbecoming tricks that some supporters in other presidential candidates’ camps embrace so eagerly.

“We denounce too, the baseless ad unhelpful information being randomly disseminated by the likes of Mr. Bwala.

“In the interest of the nation and its democracy, TPP appeals to all aspirants and supporters at all levels to learn from the focused and principled campaign methods of Professor Osinbajo and his supporters whose collective determination towards actualizing Nigeria’s enduring greatness is a cause that genuinely deserves the support of all patriots.

“We categorically debunk the spate of falsehoods against PYO’s candidature and we urge all Nigerian patriots to look forward to join us in the forthcoming celebrations on the day after APC presidential primaries,’ the TPP official stated.

Meanwhile, the Tinubu Support Group TSG has appealed to delegates to consider the future of the nation and elect the former Lagos governor as presidential candidate of the party.

Head, Media and Publicity of the TSG, Tosin Adeyanju in an open letter to delegates said “it is an incontrovertible fact that Asiwaju Tinubu has the mental capacity, the political sagacity and the economic ingenuity required to steer the Nigerian ship to the promised land”.

“Patrick Henry famously declared that ‘I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past’. It is with the declaration of Patrick Henry in mind that I am writing to you all on why the choice of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the answer to a new Nigeria we have long desired. My letter to you all is to seek your vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in this forthcoming convention.

“Hence, I am appealing to all you, our dear party delegates to vote for Alhaji Ahmed Tinubu as the party presidential candidate. The future of this country and that of our children has made Asiwaju the right choice for a time like this when our country needs a tested turnaround.

“As a pro-democracy leader from the NADECO days, Senator in the third republic, two-time Governor of Lagos State and founding member of APC, Asiwaju is the most experienced and most qualified to be the next President of Nigeria”, he stated.

In a related development, the APC Professionals Forum has taken its quest for professionals and technocrats in the party to be given more roles to the leadership of the party.

A delegation led by the acting Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Dr Nkem Okeke which met the National Secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore, was emphatic that the party has an untapped pool of professionals that could easily add value to the party’s operations at all levels.

He said: “The narrative has to change to include this untapped pool of party members who have shown more than a passing interest in politics and governance in country.

“We have quite a number, not only in our midst but also within the rank and file, that are prepared for responsibilities so we crave the indulgence of the National Working Committee (NWC) to also look in the direction of professionals who are registered APC members.

“As a registered think-tank in the party, it falls within our mandate to contribute our quota to strengthening APC. We have therefore being holding consultations with registered professionals bodies in order to woo interested professionals into the party as well as to synergize with them in order to enhance professionalism in governance.

“And while the party is in the midst of electing candidates that will fly our flag in the various elections in 2023, we are hoping to organize conferences, retreats and symposia in partnership with the new APC leadership as part of preparations for the next general elections.”

Responding, Senator Omisore welcomed the idea behind the formation of APC Professionals Forum and promised to support its initiatives.

“We are prepared to work with you and have no problem including professionals in the activities of the party ahead of the next election,” he said.

The delegation which also included the National Coordinator of the forum, Hon. Akeem Akintayo also met the Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari, National Vice Chairman (South), Victor Giadom as well as National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Argungu and his deputy, Nze Chidi Duru.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday night declared that Nigeria is a complex country, but not difficult to manage if Nigerians were honest and sincere with themselves.

Obasanjo, made the declaration when he received the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirant and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike at his Penthouse residence, located on the premises of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, said no single individual can provide solutions to the nation’s challenges, stressing that these challenges require collective efforts of all Nigerians.

Wike was in the company of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, his Benue State counterpart,

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo

, and former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, among others.

The elder statesman who acknowledged Wike’s courage in the way he pursued his ambition, reminded his guests that he had long ceased to be a partisan politician, but added that he would continue to seek the welfare of Nigerians.

He said, if Nigeria enthroned the basic ingredients that will bring unity and inclusiveness, all other things will take their positions to help remove conflict and be able to deal with the pernicious issues of insecurity, and the issue of the economy and the wholesomeness of the society.

Obasanjo said, “I have always made a point that I have ceased to be a partisan politician. I don’t belong to any political party, but if politics is the welfare of the people, I cannot cease to be a politician, because I must always seek the welfare of the people”.

“And of course, you all know what the situation of Nigeria is and anybody who doesn’t know that, is either not a Nigerian or is not being truthful to himself or herself, and we need, as I often said, no one individual can say yes, I can do it because the situation Nigeria is today, we need all hands of all Nigerian to be on deck to restore Nigeria and that is what Governor Wike is saying to me”.

“If we talk about courage, he doesn’t lack it, and if you have courage, and you have the conviction to speak your mind. Well, we have a saying in this part of the world that a person who speaks the truth all the time may not even get a mat spread for him because you will incur the displeasure of people, but you need the truth to be spoken and to get ourselves to move Nigeria on the path of unity”.

“We cannot get unity if there is no justice if there is no fairness if there is no equity. And when you have the basic ingredients that will bring unity and inclusiveness, then all other things will take their positions. You will remove conflict, you will be able to deal with this pernicious issue of insecurity and, of course, the issue of the economy and the wholesomeness of the society”.

“The issues he raised are the issues that are dear to my own heart for the unity and stability of Nigeria. And I thank all those who are with him”.

There is one thing that I believe in, and I have always said it over and over again, Nigeria is a complex country, but Nigeria is not a difficult country, if we are sincere and fair to ourselves, it is not a difficult country to manage, and I wish him well”.

On his part, Governor Wike said zoning of political offices and positions is in the Constitution of PDP and in line with the nation’s Constitution, stressing that it provides for fairness and equity.

While reacting to the decision of the PDP for throwing its Presidential ticket open, Wike said, he was prepared to go through the primary.

The Rivers State governor expressed the confidence that he has what it takes to win the PDP primary election and also win at the general elections, pledging to work for the unity, stability and security of the country and Nigerians.
