I’m Pregnant for My Mother’s New Husband ––Big Girl Opens Up

0 0
Read Time:4 Minute, 0 Second

Nancy’s father died in a ghastly motor accident when she was barely two months old. His photographs were always with her but she never knew him. She prodded her mother endlessly to tell her stories about her father and was never tired hearing the same thing over and again.

Anytime she saw her friends with their fathers, she was sad and longed for that person she could refer to as a father. Along the line, she gained admission into a polytechnic to study accountancy.

As a first year diploma student of accountancy:
She became really close to Ahmed, a final year HND student of the same department. They were from the same tribe and spoke the same language. Being a fresher who was largely ignorant about her surroundings and the way things worked, she found succour in him, who was only too glad to provide a shoulder for her to lean on.

While Nancy saw in him a guardian, Ahmed saw in her, a prey he couldn’t wait to feast on. He slept with her and deceived her into thinking that he cared very much about her.

Shortly before he graduated, he pledged his undying love for her and she believed him. Unfortunately, whatever existed between them both ended as soon as he left. Try as she could, nothing could be done about restoring their relationship. He had moved on with another woman.

She picked up the pieces of her life and moved on. Not too long after, she met Lawrence, an older student in the same polytechnic.

He was contented remaining her very good friend, offering her succour and advice when needed but Nancy wanted more. She loved his disposition and wanted him for keeps. With time, she won him over and like her previous relationship, it ended same way.

Again, she moved on. By the time she began making plans to start her internship; her mother had found love with a well-known business man, Igwe Albert, who married her as his second wife.

Naturally, Nancy became his step daughter. Igwe ensured that his new wife was happy—he set her up in business, got her a good apartment and a car. He also ensured that his step daughter lacked nothing.

He even urged her to have her internship in the accounts department of his company. Seeing how well she did her job and even helping to reduce his overhead cost, he came to appreciate her and showered her with praises and gifts.

It soon got to a point where she stayed back after most of the workers have closed for the day, balancing the books. On such occasions, Igwe would stay back to keep her company and related with her the way a father would with a daughter.

Nancy appreciated this kind gesture and quickly warmed up to him. She was glad to have found a real father figure at last!

One evening, when they were relating as usual, their discussion soon became raunchy and they had sex in the office! She felt bad that she had betrayed her mother.

“I don’t want you to tell your mother about what happened tonight,” Igwe said and signed a cheque of N2m in her name. She didn’t believe he could be this generous and thought this could be the last intimate moment they would share together.

But it wasn’t. Igwe kept coming for her and so were the gifts and money. Her initial fear was erased. Nancy relaxed and went full throttle with him. Not even the mother suspected anything because she believed her husband was taking care of her daughter.

Three months after, she became pregnant and her mother and the first wife soon found out. But Nancy refused an abortion.

“Mother, do you remember what the prophet you took me to when I was 18 years old said?” Nancy asked her mother. Her mother had taken her to a prophet for prayers when she suffered from a strange ailment and medical help failed. Nancy was prayed for and she got better. The prophet warned her mother that the girl must never have an abortion, if she did, she would die!

“So, you are going to keep the pregnancy and marry my husband?” her mother said despitefully.

“Nancy, the prophecy was five years ago and it was because of your illness. You must go for an abortion.”

Surprisingly, even Igwe sits on the fence about it and told mother and daughter to take the decision they felt was the best for them.

But both Nancy’s mother and his first wife are set for battle. They asked that the pregnancy be terminated.

Report: Half of Nigerians Live In Darkness

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 57 Second

Results from the Power Sector Polls conducted by NOI Polls Limited, have revealed that an average of 47 percent (about 75.2 million) of Nigerians said that electricity supply went from bad to worse between April and June 2013.

Results from the poll also indicate that about 8 in 10 of those interviewed (81%) say they generate their own power supply through alternative sources to compensate for irregular power supply; while a combined average of 69 percent have experienced increase in their spending on alternative power supply compared to a year ago.

A breakdown of key findings from the poll reveal that while 22 percent of Nigerians said power was very bad and turned worse, 25 percent said it remained bad. However, 33 percent of Nigerians saw some improvement in power supply, 20 percent found that power remained the same with no difference in the past month.

The survey which was conducted by NOI Polls Limited, a Nigerian opinion polling and research organisation, which works to conduct periodic opinion polls and studies on various socio-economic and political issues in Nigeria, said the survey spanned from April to June 2013.

Out of the three months, the report revealed that May had the highest amount of power supply.  Also, power supply slightly improved in May as less people had to generate their own power supply compared to other months. The survey further found that 8 in 10 Nigerians used other sources of electricity apart from the power supplied to households by PHCN. A situation which ties with the petrol pump price monitoring polls conducted by NOI Polls which revealed that Nigerians mainly use petrol for their generators.

Several other reports with similar findings have been presented in recent times, what is left to see decisive action from relevant agencies of government and key policy makers in the power sector.

But the minister of power Professor Chinedu Nebo said on Tuesday that very soon the country will attain uninterrupted power supply.   The minister, who spoke at the Ministerial Platform in Abuja, said available statistics show that power generation in the last two years has improved and if the tempo will be sustained very soon Nigerians will get 24/7 power supply. He attributed some of the challenges facing the sector to incessant vandalisation of electricity installations in the country.

Nkiru Sylvanus Responds To Rumour On Romance With Imo Governor

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 48 Second

The ever resolute Nollywood actress, Nkiru Syvalnus has finally broken the long observed silence after she gave out her words on the rumour peddled by rumour-mongers over her alleged romance with the Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha. Describing the long meted rumour on her as being horrendous and handiwork of disgruntled politicians, the fair-skinned actress in an exclusive interview (not codewit.com) stated below:

It is unfortunate that people can say such false stories. I’ve been working for this man even before he decided to contest for the gubernatorial election. During the elections in Imo State I was all over the State. I attended every major campaign event for His Excellency, Governor Okorocha. I was there when he declared his interest to aspire for the office of governor in Imo state. Then, people did not talk about my alleged relationship with him.

They saw me on T.V they heard me on the Radio, they saw me take part in the Street Rallies, they saw me at the INEC office in Owerri, yet nobody talked about me being in a relationship with him. Now that God has made it possible for him to become a governor the rumour mongers have started talking. All of a sudden, they accuse me of sleeping with a man I look up to as my mentor and father simply because he appointed me as one of his advisers. Some people in our society find it very hard to believe that a lady can ever get anything on merit, especially in the Nigerian context.

Once a lady gets to a top position in government or any other sector in the society and it happens to come from a man, it is often assumed that she is romantically linked to the man. This mindset of our people is not good at all and it needs to be addressed. I believe that a lot of women out there have got what it takes to arrive at the top without sleeping around with men. But I am not discouraged because I know that it is the hand-work of detractors and disgruntled politicians.

EXPOSED: Alison-Madueke’s Secret Romance With Lagos Big Boy

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 44 Second

According to a report monitored on First Weekly, Nigeria's Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke is undoubtedly one of the most powerful ministers in the country today. Apart from holding a very sensitive position in the executive council, she also has the ears of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The beautiful woman, we also learnt, had an 'underground' relationship with a Lagos-based Oil and Gas big boy, Dapo Abiodun.
According to those who know about their affair, Diezani and Dapo dated for a while and while it lasted, both enjoyed it to the fullest both in Nigeria and abroad.

The source said Dapo was the Apple of Alison's eye during the late president Umar Musa Yar'Adua's tenure when she was the Minister of Transportation and later Solid Mineral Resources.

We learnt that affair between Alison and Dapo was closely guided and only a few people in the corridors of power knew of it.

Dapo, who owns Heyden Oil, one of the major players in the oil and gas sector, was alleged by insiders to have gotten more patronage through Alison's influence.
Unfortunately for the love birds, somewhere along the line, we learnt Dapo fumbled and Alison had a bitter fight with him.
“When Alison Madueke became Minister of Petroleum, she made sure Dapo's Heyden Oil got little or no allocation for the importation of petroleum products, which accounted for serious drop in his fortune.
“The fight is still on, but I know Dapo is trying to find a way back into the woman's heart,” our source disclosed.
However, the source added that Alison, who is married to a former Chief of Naval Staff, Rtd. Admiral Madueke, has stepped up and has no time for Dapo again.
"You know Dapo is a lady’s man, but the minister has told some of her confidants that he belongs to her past now,” our source said.

My Love Affair With Kunle Coker ––Genevieve Nnaji

0 0
Read Time:58 Second

The relationship between actor Kunle Coker and Genevieve Nnaji has been generating a lot of dust since last week when an interview she had with Azuh Arinze sometime a go was published recently.

It seems their love affair did not end well after Genevieve started acting arrogant to Kunle Coker who was said to have thought her a lot about the acting industry. Genevieve has been dodging the issue until now that the controversial interview was eventually published.

See the crux of the matter below: Question: But the story we heard was that Kunle Coker brought you into Nollywood and both of you even dated“Yes, Kunle Coker was actually my boyfriend, but he did not bring me to the industry.  Question: Is it true that you dumped him for Fred Amata?“Fred Amata? I’ve never had anything to do with Fred Amata. I used to call him uncle, so I don’t see the reason why I should date Fred. We are just friends.” Anyway, Genevieve is now denying the interview. Some say it's because the name of her ex was mentioned.

Pastor J Of God’s House, Abuja Accuses Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Adultery

0 0
Read Time:8 Minute, 5 Second

For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”
Isaiah 9:16 . Let them alone: they be leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Matt 15:14

I was going to be silent on this sad, pathetic but true (in many shades) allegation against Pastor B and his popular and trendy ministry. My silence was borne out of respect for the kingdom of God and things that pertain to God. But all this changed when I heard the horrific tales of people who had been through the mess of this blind man, and the fact that he had no moral motivation to deny or accept the allegation; all he showed on Sunday was a demented swagger and perverse talk.

My sole purpose in writing this piece is to open the eyes of the world and believers to the hypocrisy and nonsense behind the pulpit, and to plea that these wolves and blind men stop deflating the faith of people who Christ died for. I am a Pastor, a full time minister at that, and I shall not sit back while
the name of my God, the ministry, and the works of other shepherds is brought to disrepute by the activities, action and inaction of a few blind men behind the pulpit.

I am tired of the nonsense of religion crying out, “touch not my anointed”; does this mean we cannot rebuke ourselves when we err, this much Paul did to Peter when he erred in Galatians 2:11 “But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed”. It is therefore pertinent that I rebuke the wolves in shepherd’s clothing’s. It is time to set the record straight, and please don’t sell me the bullocks of judge not, I haven’t said anyone is going to hell, but of course if they don’t change, they have only one path.

It is high time we told the truth, which is plain, simple and without coloration. The stories of Franca and Ese is not only true but they are just a few tales of the tantalizing sex escapades of this clergy. This has been a recurring decimal in the ministry of the clergyman. This wasn’t the first time these stories will come forth, for those old COZA members, for those who were there when he was in Ilorin, when the church moved to Pipeline Road, Ilorin, having left Kwara Hotel, they will remember there was a time when the Pastor was suspended from ministering by his Father in the Lord, Rev Oset of Canaan Ministries. Rev. Oset sent guest ministers to the church every Sunday after that, but still Pastor B in his deceit will still minister in the pretence of introducing the guest minister, while he exhorts for minutes. I therefore laugh in mockery when He says his wife loves him, the woman has no choice. His core circle of Pastor Wole (Ilorin Chapter, the only man who maybe clean), and Pastor Flo (COZA, Lagos) knows of this fact, little wonder Ese said Pastor Flo said he knows about their adventures in that hotel room in London.

This is not the story of a hater; I don’t want or envy anything he has. He cannot ever have what I have and carry; neither do I crave for what he has. I am sure no one in the city of Ilorin, where this man started is bemused by these stories, no one who finished from the University of Ilorin during the period of 2003-2008, and was not a blinded COZA member can be mightily shocked at these revelations. I have heard tales of many more victims, I even heard from a woman who knows five friends who were victims, I saw it online the other day of a guy who said he formally works for him and he knows up to 130 people, outrageous as it may sound that too is true. Rev Oset in true conscience cannot deny the knowledge of these negatives. But we are a nation of hypocrites and religious folks; we ask no questions of leaders, so they can hide under the canopy of religion, even when they are filthy. Anyone who asks is rebuked by those who say, the bible says pray. It is sad that those who say pray themselves have not prayed. But Pastor B is just a decimal in an ever mounting number of wolves in the Church of Christ.

Someone told me yesterday that this can’t be the end of him and his tyranny, because even in Ilorin in those days, the allegation was rolled under the rug. On Sunday, August 25, 2013, the man leading certain blind men under the veil of religion and ‘spiritism’ said God told him not to say anything, he then said they are preparing a robust response. Who is fooling who? We must not keep quiet and watch the bride of Christ, the church, rubbed and undignified in mud and slime by a filthily rich pastor who thinks he can do anything and get away with it.

It is a pity that we run sensational press and media outfit in this country, and that our press is blinded by religion. If this were to be ‘saner’ climes the press would by now be researching, there would by now be investigative journalism. The truth would be dogged up and resurrected to life. For this is not about a mistake that a Pastor made, it is about a filthy man’s way of life.

And then about, “teaching a new level of grace’; please be reminded that Grace is not a license to sin, rather it empowers us to live above sin. Romans 6:1-2 says, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” In my years of being a Christian, studying God’s word, preaching the gospel, listening to sound teachers, I have not heard of a grace that gives permission to sin. Stop being deceived, grace is the new dispensation, according to Hebrew 8:6-12, and under grace we do not follow any written code, law or traditions. That is done away with. The tablet of Moses is over with. But we are not reckless sinners; we are under a new covenant based on better promises. God’s law is written in our minds and hearts. We live according to His dictates. The Holy Spirit and our conscience convicts and judges us respectively. This is the only way we live a holy life. God’s strength and empowerment is the grace to do according to that written by God in our hearts and minds.

I write this with a heavy heart, though I wish I never had to write this, but I pray this madness stops. I know many who have stopped going to church, many whose faith has been derailed by the act of madness of this man, and many blind men like him. If they are not going to heaven, let them stop taking men out of the straight and narrow. No one understands the pain in meeting a man, whose faith has been derailed by a man who was supposed to help establish him. For such a man, words can’t bring him back, the best we can do is to pray and hope. I indulge the clergy to be of a higher moral standard.

My candid advice to the church at this end time is that the church must grow in knowledge; it’s high time we stopped bamboozling you. You must stop making idols of men. You must stop making men such as I, substitute for the Holy Ghost. Honour us; revere us… but that is where it ends. Without the Call, the Oil, and the Holy Spirit; we are mere mortal. But know for sure that this too shall pass; only the truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom abides forever.

For Pastor B and his sense making COZA people, remember the word of Christ in Matthew 15:14. How many of you even live life bearing the fruit of righteousness. Stop being blind, the ditch is close by. Look into this case, ask your pastor questions, seek genuine answers and not emotional rhetorics, hold him responsible, and do not forget the word of God, “then shall they know if they follow to know…” I am sure evidence abound. Seek to know from some key PCU members (who may need to be deposited in Gods ICU). Its time you hear not only about grace, but HOLINESS without which no one will see the Lord.

Finally don’t bother praying against me, I can say like Paul, “For me to die is gain, to live is Christ”, but I cannot even go now, because I am yet to fully finish the task set before me. Don’t waste your time using misguided scriptural interpretation. This I write is true, and I am sorry if you don’t like it. Your Pastor, and every other wolf whose conscience is not seared knows it is the complete true.

God bless you.
God bless His Church.
God bless Nigeria

From
Pastor J
God’s House

Photo: What Kind Of Female Corpers Are These?

Read Time:20 Second

I thought a lady was recently dismissed from NYSC camp for refusing to wear trouser? So, is this allowed?

Could it be that the officials in the South refused to respect that lady's "moral/religious right" but interestingly the camp officials in the North respected these ladies "moral/religious right"? Just Asking

But why are there always different rules in Nigeria?

Ngeria: Coffin dealer feigns kidnap, demands ransom from brothers

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 1 Second

The police in Enugu State have arrested a coffin dealer, Mr. Samuel Ani, for allegedly “kidnapping himself” and demanding ransom from his younger brothers.

Ani was arrested last Thursday in a bush where he had hid himself for six days.

The police said on Sunday that it was from the bush that the suspect made telephone calls to his two younger brothers that he had been abducted and that N2m was required to get him out of the purported kidnappers den. He was said to have told his brothers that failure to pay the ransom meant that he would be killed.

The brothers, however, reported the case to the Enugu State Police Command, which in turn mobilised its anti-kidnap unit.

Our correspondent learnt that an initial sum of N100, 000 was paid into the account number provided by the supposed kidnappers.

However, a girl, Oluchi Ogbu, was arrested when she went to withdraw the money from a new generation bank on Agbani Road, Enugu.

The Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, said, “The girl was identified as Oluchi Ogbu from Akpugo in Nkanu West Local Government Area. She is Samuel Ani’s fiancée.

“On closer interrogation, she revealed that the account belongs to her but she was instructed by Samuel (Ani) to supply the account number so that his brothers could pay the ransom into it. She said she was instructed to cash it as soon as she received an alert of the payment and bring it to him (Ani).”

Amaraizu said Ogbu’s revelation led to the arrest of Ani in the bush.

“When we arrested him, he disclosed that he was not kidnapped, adding that he kidnapped himself so that his wealthy younger brothers could pay money for ransom, which he would use to sort out his financial challenges,” the PPRO said.

The suspect told the police that, apart from the deceit, there was no other way his brothers would give him money.

The suspect said he needed to trick the brothers to get out money from them in order to address his immediate challenges, which he said required huge amount of money.

It was learnt that Ani was married and had five children, but had not told Ogbu, who he also promised marriage.”

The PPRO said investigation into the incident was ongoing. PUNCH

United States of America Asks Citizens To Avoid 14 Nigerian States

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 2 Second

As the world remembers the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001 on the twin tower in the United States, the US government has enforced a restriction on its citizens from travelling to fourteen Nigerian states.

The US embassy in Nigeria in a message to its citizens posted on its website said because of safety and security concerns, the U.S. Mission in Nigeria is enforcing a restricted travel policy for U.S. Embassy personnel to the states of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto, Yobe, and Zamfara.

It said U.S. citizens should be mindful of this and consider taking similar steps when planning travel.

The statement reads in part, “Spontaneous demonstrations are also likely to occur in these and possibly other areas within Nigeria in response to heightened tensions in the Middle East, as well as the lead up to September 11. Regardless of where demonstrations might occur, U.S. citizens should be aware that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can potentially turn confrontational and escalate into violence without advance warning. U.S. citizens should avoid areas of demonstrations, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.

Mandela leaves hospital

Read Time:49 Second

Nelson Mandela has left hospital and has gone to his Johannesburg home, where he is continuing to receive intensive care, the South African presidency says on its website.

The announcement came a day after officials denied reports that the 95-year-old had already been discharged.

The statement says Mr. Mandela condition remains critical and at time unstable.

BBC reports that South Africa’s first democratically elected president has been in hospital since June with a lung infection.

“His doctors are convinced that he will receive the same level of intensive care at his Houghton home that he received in Pretoria [hospital],” the presidency statement says.

It says his home in the upmarket suburb of Houghton has been “reconfigured to allow him to receive intensive care there” and he will be treated by the same health care personnel who have been looking after him since June 8.

If necessary, he will be readmitted to hospital, the statement says.
