Los Angeles, Oct 24 : Rihanna’s former publicist, Jonathan Hay, has apologised for starting the rumour that Jay Z cheated on his wife Beyonce with Rihanna. While it is a great achievement for the young lady and motivated most Nigerian youths to be active and focused, I feel the choice of investment in Banana Island is wrong on the following grounds:
1. Location: The cost of properties in Banana Island has been stagnant lately. With the emergence of Eko Atlantic, must investors are selling off their assets to acquire space at Eko Atlantic. With the speed at which Eko Atlantic is moving, Banana Island property would drop in value significantly in near future. Eko Atlantic is a better choice location than Banana Island.

Biafra Factor: With the political instability in the country and the Biafran agitation surging, such massive acquisition in Yoruba land would amount to nothing if the sovereign independence of Biafra is granted. Most Yoruba’s are not happy with her success as shown when her blog went off sometime last year. The vituperation was huge and came from the Yoruba’s. It was still the Igbos that gave her support as their sister. Therefore, if Biafra comes, the dislike would implore the forceful takeover of that property. If Ojukwu’s property were confiscated, who is Linda? While I understand Linda does not see herself as Igbo from her actions, the Yoruba’s, unfortunately, do not see her as their sister either.

The maiden edition of Miss Bikini Nigeria International beauty pageant held penultimate Saturday in Lagos amid roller-coasting pomp and pageantry. The event which took place on Saturday October 10, 2015, at Terra Kulture, was hosted by ex-BBA housemate, Melvin Oduah. It was organised by Nollywood actress, Seyi Hunter.
The beauty queens put up a great show, beginning with their choreographed session, to the time they strutted the runway in their bikinis. ‘Miss Kwa’, in the person of Blessing Williams emerged winner of the pageant, while Lolade Badmus emerged Miss Bikini Nigeria Ambassador and South-West Queen; Maryjane Balogun, Edith Hunter and Cynthia Chineme emerged North-Central, Niger-Delta and South-East Queens respectively..
The crowned queen of the bikini pageant, Blessing Williams, was presented with a brand new Kia Rio car and a cash prize of N1.5 million. She will also represent Nigeria at the World Bikini Model International competition in Malta, beginning from October 18-25, 20015. The keenly contested pageant had reputable judges including, Miz Gold, Sentiago Roberts, Simon Peacemaker and Age Anthony.
The four regional winners were given a cash prize of N250,000 each. Kia Motors will be sponsoring three of the girls including the winner to Malta for the 27th edition of the World pageant.
The organiser of the pageant, Seyi Hunter, emphasized that the pageant was about doing the foreign bikini culture the African way using African prints. “It’s about injecting the African culture into an European or global culture. The bikini culture is European-born and we are injecting the African culture into it. We are trying to change this foreign culture that we have borrowed, to suit us. We are buying a foreign culture and doing it our way. We want to promote decency. The bikini culture is the beach culture all over the world, now we are injecting the African culture into it. We are taking away the amoral sides of it and making it look African. We want to change our orientation about bikinis.”

(CNN)Former NBA star Lamar Odom was conscious and able to say "Hi" to estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, a source with knowledge of the situation said Friday.
It was unclear whether Odom remained conscious or how long he was awake.
Odom's college coach, Jim Harrick, told CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" that Kardashian told him she reached down to Odom on Friday morning and told him she loved him.
Odom blinked, Harrick said.
The former Rhode Island coach said doctors were taking "some things" — Harrick implied they were breathing tubes and taking him off kidney dialysis — out of Odom on Friday afternoon.
"… And he's awake now," Harrick said. "So that's probably the most encouraging news we've had since it all started."
Odom is not in a coma and is using a mask to breathe, but has serious damage to his vital organs, the former NBA star's mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, told "Access Hollywood" on Friday.
Odom has been at a Las Vegas hospital since Tuesday, after being found unresponsive at a brothel.
Earlier a source close to the situation told CNN that Odom, 35, improved a "tiny bit" during his third night at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.
Odom "got a tiny bit better — emphasis on tiny — and he was responsive in the middle of the night for a moment," the source said.
Officials at Sunrise have not commented on the condition of Odom, whose medical decisions are being made by Kardashian, a source has told CNN. CNN has reached out several times to the hospital for comment and no one has returned any of the calls.
