Skiibii’s manager Soso Soberekon has been fired over the failed death stunt of his artiste.

The rising Five Star Music singer is currently in the storm after a failed death PR stunt which has brought grave embarrassment and ridicule to the label which also houses singers Kcee, and Harrysong.

According to reports, the ludicrous death stunt was masterminded by label artiste manager Soso Soberekon, who put a call through to blogger Linda Ikeji to sound the alarm. But hours later, it backfired, bringing a flood of shame on the record label.

Five Star Music artistes, Kcee and his protege, Skiibii Mayana were involved in a Live broadcast spotted on Wazobia FM yesterday 19th August on the morning show hosted by Yaw.

Both singers made the appearance to clear rumours and throw light on the controversy surrounding the alleged death and resurrection of upcoming act, Skiibii.

Kcee disclosed that he had been in Norway at the time of the incident and expressed regrets on not being around to properly manage the situation, which he claims was exaggerated.

He also revealed and fingered their manager, Soso Soberekon as the man behind the entire affair, saying he made a big mistake and acted unprofessionally with the death confirmation to the news media without really verifying if Skiibii was really dead.

Then he dropped the bombshell; Soso Soberekon has been fired. He has been relieved of his post at Five Star Music, and was required to issue a public apology over the incident.

“Soso has been fired”, Kcee said. “I’m really very sad and annoyed and I blame my manager Soso Soberekon for this mess. As we speak now, he has been fired.”

“We’re still very angry at his unprofessional manner, and we have made it a must for him to apologize to everyone affected, especially to the Fans and Linda Ikeji who first broke the news”, He added.

The ‘Limpopo’ crooner further stated that Skiibii is recuperating gradually from his brief illness and will personally make a statement when he is fully recovered.
