Handsome Ghanaian actor John Dumelo says contrary to widely belief, he is dating.
According to the actor, he is in active relationship but stressed the lady in question is not actress Yvonne Nelson.
John and Yvonne have been captured together in what many describe as too close, on several occasions, fueling speculations that they might be dating.
But answering a question on his relationship status in an interview on Airtel Entertainment News on Drive Time on Joy FM Tuesday, the actor disclosed that, “I'm dating.”
He however will not tell who he is dating except to say, “if I mention name, trouble go come ooo.”
Yvonne Nelson said Tuesday that, even though she and John look perfect as a couple in photographs, a romantic relationship between them won't last a week.
The actress posted on Facebook: “I'm waiting for the day you'll post your girlfriend's pic for the world to see so I can be free…..the arguments are out of this world. In our pics we look so perfect but we won't last a week in a romantic relationship. I'll investigate every txt n every call……and I know you'll do the same…..you are more than just a best friend. You are a brother.”
Commenting on Yvonne Nelson's post, John said, “Yonne is a good friend. She's been a fantastic friend over the years and a lot of people think that we should date…like she rightly said I don't think it will last.”
Meanwhile, John, who turned 31 Tuesday, and was involved in an accident on the morning of his 31 st birthday, said he was doing fine.
“It was a bad experience because if I hadn't really applied my breaks, I'm sure I would have hit the guy off the road because his car was a smaller car.
“It took me by surprise because something like this has never happened to me before and for it to happen to me on my birthday, that's when I realized that the devil is a liar.
