What Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Others Said At Muna Obiekwe’s Candlelight Procession

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, has ones again stepped on the toes of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party as they pulled out of the scheduled presidential debate organized by the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) and the Nigeria Election Debate Group (NEDG).

APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari’s refusal to participate in the debate sparked tongue lashing from Okukpe who said they would have made a fool of themselves for attending the debate.
According to him, “If APC didn’t withdraw from the debate they would have been stupid. Their candidate has no record of performance. Neither is he educated nor eloquent.”

He noted that President Jonathan was far better than Buhari in everything and allowing both of them side by side was a sin. ‘My candidate is intelligent, highly educated and mentally resourceful. Putting him against GMB in a debate will be sinful and unfair.”

“Anybody supporting Buhari is progressively going into the decline mode,” he added.
