Slim Burna tweeted the above yesterday following his latest hit "Oh Na Na Na" impressive performance on the Rhythm 93.7 TGIF chart. The song was originally recorded in September but was later released on October 1 to commemorate Nigeria's National Day Anniversary and has generated generally positive to mixed reviews from music critics and fans alike.
Its lyrics are centered on a Nigerian girl he lusts after, whose beauty and movements he felt, were comparable to those of an Indian and a Brazilian girl.
According to the official Rhythm 93.7 PHC twitter, "Oh Na Na Na" entered the chart in the last week of November at number ten and climbed to number two the next week. It spent another week at that position before eventually dropping out of the chart completely.
The TGIF Charts is aired every Friday during a show called 'Afternoon Drive' hosted by radio personality Azubuike Wokocha.
A few weeks ago, the singer performed the song for the first time publicly at Carniriv's Pre Concert which was held at Port Harcourt's Liberation Stadium.
