The Federal Government has appointed Emeka Mba, former Director General of the National Film and Videos Censors Board (NFVCB) as the Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
It also announced the appointment of Hajiya Inna Maryam Ciroma, who is to take over the helm of affairs at the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).
The appointments were contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, in Abuja.
Others are Sally Mbanefo as Executive Director, National Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC); Bature Masadi as Director General, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEDAN); Dupe Atoki as Director General, Consumer Protection Council (CPC); and Danjuma Dabo as Managing Director, Nigerian Film Corporation.
According to Anyim, all the appointments take immediate effect.
