A total of 17 frontline dealers were recently rewarded by Michelin Tyre Services Company Limited for their outstanding performances in meeting their annual target and buying into Michelin’s 2013 vision.
By their performance, they were automatically inducted into the Michelin Business Associates platform which comes with special rewards, enabling them to operate more smoothly in their different working environments.
According to the National Sales and Marketing Manager of the company, Mr. Kayode Sangotayo, “all our business associates who were recently hosted in Eko Hotel and Suites, also went home with conviction as true partners with Michelin”.
He also stated that “these are some of the ways of ensuring a smooth partnership with all our dealers who have equal opportunities to excel while selling our very reliable Michelin tyres known over the years”.
During the event one of the company’s intermediate premium brand Kormoran was also presented once again reminding them of Michelin leadership in innovation in the tyre industry all over the world.
Leading the Michelin team to the MBA Awards dinner, Michelin’s Operations/Commercial Director, Mr Fritz Mueller, stated that the relationship of his company with the dealers “reflects very well on our commitment to our dealers and with that commitment, no matter what happens to the economy, we will always find a way”.
On commitment to the customer, Mueller explained that Michelin remains the only tyre company in Nigeria that deals directly with its customers, unlike other tyre companies that are being represented by third parties. A new MBA President emerged in the person of Ambassador Emma Nnaji.
It would be recalled that Michelin, had in the past, rewarded its MBA dealers with incentives of holding their annual meetings outside the country, which has since been an annual event.
