Integrated Oil and Gas at the weekend received the prestigious NIS ISO 9001:2008 Certificate for its conformity to international recognised standards. The company received the certificate based strictly on its quality management system, compliance with applicable regulatory requirement and active approach to management among others.
The certification not only acts as a major milestone and laudable achievement for the organisation, which is a key player in the downstream petroleum sector, but also raises their bar and sets it apart in quality service delivery, professionalism and integrity.
Speaking at the certificate presentation, which attracted who is who in the oil and gas sector, the Group Managing Director of the company, Mr. Tony Iheanacho, explained that the need to adopt a more forward thinking management strategy that would bring customerâ€™s delight with the companyâ€™s goods/services ultimately led the company to make frantic moves for the certification.
Iheanacho said with the certification, the company has not only raised its bar of quality management in the industry but has placed it amongst the rare breeds and a member of global standard fraternity.
