Royal Father Commends Globacom on Network Reliability

The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Gbadebo, has commended Globacom for always fulfilling its promises to subscribers and for being dependable at all times.
Oba Gbadebo  who made the remarks in his palace on recently at a press conference to flag off activities for the 2014 Lisabi Festival disclosed that the theme of the festival, “Amalgamation in Nigeria and Egba National Independence,” was chosen to reflect the centenary celebrations in the country.
“Lisabi festival is held to uphold our culture. We have had a very proud and rich past and Globacom is partnering us to have a better future. Glo’s competitors are complaining that it had taken almost all subscribers in Egbaland. We enjoin them (Glo) to keep up the impressive service, “Oba Gbadebo stated.
The paramount ruler thanked Globacom for granting his request by designing a special SIM for the festival last year. He requested for the composition of the Egba national anthem as caller tune.
Speaking earlier, Globacom’s Executive Director, Legal Services, Mrs. Gladys Talabi, announced that Globacom was extending its sponsorship of the festival for another three years because of the mutually beneficial relationship with Egbaland. She added that the sponsorship will also keep the pioneering and courageous spirit of Lisabi Agbongboakala alive.
She stated that Globacom is the proud sponsor of major festivals in the country because of its abiding love for the preservation of cultural heritage as a proudly Nigerian company.
“Today’s signing of a Memorandum of Understanding is a confirmation of the mutually beneficial relationship between Egbas and Globacom. It also underscores our love for the Egbas. We are happy to extend the partnership for another three more years and we shall continue to make Lisabi Festival better year in, year out,” Mrs Talabi added.
