Lanre Shittu Slashes Prices of Mack Spare Parts

The representative of Mack Trucks in Nigeria, Lanre Shittu Motors, has slashed the prices of the spare parts of the trucks in an on-going promo to keep more Mack trucks on Nigerian roads.

The promo, which started last week, will run till the end of the year and is open to both owners of new and old Mack trucks.

According to the company’s Group Executive Director, Mr. Taiwo Shittu, “customers will enjoy over 30 per cent discount in the on-going promo on spare parts purchased during the period.” He explained that the promo period might be extended depending on what the management decided.

“This is our own way of saying thank you to our customers and encouraging them to keep their Mack trucks on the roads without complaints,” he stated.

Continuing, he said “Our dream at Lanre Shittu Motors is to see more Mack trucks on the Nigerian high ways, making returns to their owners who have made investments in the vehicles.”

The Executive Director, who described Mack vehicles as workhorses, said that an average Mack truck has a life span of over 30 years if properly maintained.

He then encouraged Mack truck owners to buy original spare parts from the manufacturers directly from Lanre Shittu Motors, which is the sole representative of the brand in Nigeria.

He identified the outstanding qualities of Mack trucks to include low fuel consumption, ruggedness, longevity, easy to maintain, availability of original parts, and technical support from the manufacturers.

Shittu further hinted that his company decided to introduce the cut in the prices of all Mack truck spare parts because of the need to encourage Mack truck users to use genuine spare parts. The company, he said gets direct technical support from Mack truck company in the United States of America.

According to him, “We are offering 30 per cent discount for all Mack truck spare parts ranging from servicing kits, clutches, radiators, brake pads, Electronic Control Units, Bulldog batteries and so many others.”

The Director, whose company has presence in different parts of the country, said over 33 per cent of the premium truck market in Nigeria is being controlled by Lanre Shittu Motors, (Mack) and called on Mack truck users to seize the opportunity and acquire Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) parts.

Earlier in the year, Lanre Shittu Motors blazed the trail by introducing single digit interest rate for the purchase of Mack trucks in Nigeria, an initiative that some haulage companies are already utilising.
