As the announcement was made, it was clear that 24-year-old Malawian, Felicia, would not fulfil her dream of winning the sixth season of Big Brother Africa.

This week’s eviction saw no less than eight contestants going up for eviction. The others are Zimbabweans Wendall and Vimbai, Hanni (Ethiopia), Sharon (Uganda), Lomwe (Malawi), Millicent (Kenya) and Zeus (Botswana).

The votes, which have in the last few evictions rendered ties, showed without a doubt that Africa no longer wanted Felicia in the Big Brother house. What is interesting is that Felicia wasn’t originally up for eviction. Head of house Vina saved herself from possible eviction by trading her place in the list with Felicia.

The Lilongwe resident is grateful for her time in the house and happy to be returning home to her 4-year-old child. Felicia’s eviction leaves only 16 housemates in the BBA household.
