Representing the flagEvery person always wants the opportunity to represent their country in the world, be it in sport, music or as a president in a foreign country. The boys in Biggie’s House were talking about how important it is for them to represent their countries even on the Big Brother Show.

Bimp told Oneal and Nando that he has always wanted to represent his country Ethiopia and holding their flag up high and by being on The Chase he has managed to live that dream. Ideally he would have wanted to represent his country as an athlete but the Big Brother competition has awarded him the opportunity for his country to be proud.

“When everybody hears about my country they will see my face and that comes with a lot of responsibility,” Bimp said in all seriousness. He further explained that he is also representing his country to the world. “I still respect my country and my traditions,” he said explaining his standpoint in general.

Oneal told Bimp that as much as he’s representing his country, people in his country will still have a certain perception of him. He told him that they will never understand how it is being tied to a microphone on you the whole day. His point was that his country should like him whether he’s up or down despite him representing them. “The majority of our countries expect us to be super human and yet they never paid for your taxi fare to the auditions,” Oneal emphasized his point. He was motivating the two to do things for themselves first then their country.

Do you think Oneal’s advice was good for Bimp and Nando?
