This Saturday the Housemates will be bumping and grinding to the dope sounds of the Sierre Leonean Imorana Barry, famously known as DJ Foxxy who’s been in the game for almost 20 years. He started by playing in night clubs back in 1995 and soon after upgraded to Electronics Media in Broadcast Journalism but never leaving his love for the decks.
Grandpapa Foxxy DJ is a well-known name in Sierre Leone when it comes to entertainment in the music industry and that is no fluke. He also owns Media Hypes Ltd, a media company specialising in sports marketing, consulting and event management under their belt. His company is currently running the Airtel Rising Stars in Sierre Leone as part of their mandate and initiative to local communities.
As if that’s not enough, DJ Foxxy has worked for five radio stations in his country, including SLBC, Kiss FM, Radio Bo, Radio Democracy, SKYY Radio and lately Radio Kalleone, the official partner radio for BBA The Chase. He works there as a producer, presenter and Commercial Manager.
Now that we know the man on paper, we can’t wait to hear what he’s about. But if Biggie is any reference, we know that the Housemates are in good hands as far as good vibes are concerned.
