FORMER General Secretary of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, Cheif Frank Kokori, has dismissed reports that he allegedly said that Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, was dead in Delta State, describing the report as a misrepresentation of facts.

Kokori, in a chat with Vanguard, said  he  was quoted out of context, adding that he only said he had opted out of DPP  for All Progressive Congress, APC.

He said:  ‘’In a media report of July 5, 2013, I was quoted as saying that DPP is dead in Delta State.  That was not what I said. I only said I had opted out of the party to join forces with APC.”
